The Federal University Oye-Ekiti has released the draft of its examination timetable.
FUOYE began the second semester of its 2018/2019 academic session in July this year. Unfortunately, academic activities were abruptly cut off on the 11th of September due to a protest against inadequate power supply in the area, which took place on the 10th of September.
In the course of the protest, there was a clash between the students and the security aides attached to Erelu Bisi Fayemi, the wife of the State Governor. This clash led to the death of two male students and the hospitalization of others who suffered various injuries.
Almost two months after the strike commenced, the school administration announced that academic activities will recommence on the 11th of November. In line with this, a new academic calendar has been released and examinations are expected to end on the 23rd of December while academic activities will end of the 10th of January, 2020.
