Awodola Samuel has emerged the winner of the FuoyeSu election held during the previous week.
The official results were announced by the Dean of Student Affairs, at the collation centre.
According to official results announced, Mr Awodola, also known as, Unique AOS polled 1800 votes to defeat Ojo Sanmi who had 1623 votes and Aborishade Olawale who had 435 votes.
While speaking to CAMPUS REPORTER about his victory, Unique AOS said the victory was only achievable through the grace of God. He also thanked Fuoye students for the love and support shown to him.
While speaking on his plan for the Union during his tenure, he said his overarching agenda is to ‘bridge the dichotomy between Ikole Campus and Oye Campus’ by ensuring oneness among students.
Furthermore, he explained that he intends to achieve this by ‘reorientating the students’ on the fact that ‘we are one’; and also by teaming up with respective stakeholders, president of associations and class representatives.
