The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has won in the polling unit for Senator Ademola Adeleke.
Senator Adeleke is the Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District and a PDP candidate in the last gubernatorial election in the state.
The result of the polling unit is as follows:
PU9, Ward 2, Abegunde/Sagbe, Ede North LG, Osun West, Osun State.
Presidential:
- APC – 67
- PDP – 112
Senate:
- APC – 61
- PDP – 100
House of Representatives:
- APC – 66
- PDP – 105
After the election, it was gathered that money was shared after the vote was counted and it was in the PDP candidates’ favour.
One of the voters who simply identified herself as Suliyat, was spotted coming out from the building where money was allegedly shared and she revealed that it was a token of appreciation.
“They are giving money to people who voted. It is a form of appreciation to those who have been under the sun, voting since morning,” she said.
At the time of this report, CAMPUS REPORTER observed some voters still hanging around the unit to receive their cash.
