They noted that the suspects arrested have provided operatives with useful information in the fight against internet fraud in the country.
The EFCC has made the fight against internet fraud, popularly known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo,’ prominent with its recent arrests of suspects, especially after the apprehension of a popular musician, Afeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley, alongside some of his friends.
The controversial music act has been remanded in prison court as the commission earlier filed 11 count charges against him.
The alleged crimes were in contravention of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act and the Cyber Crimes Act.
