The management of the First Technical University (Tech-U), Ibadan has announced the first-semester break for the 2020/2021 academic session of the institution.
This was contained in a special release dated 10th of June, 2021 and signed by the Registrar of the University, Olayinka O. Balogun (Mrs).
According to the release, ‘The management of the First Technical University (Tech-U), Ibadan has directed that all students should proceed on a two-week semester break starting from Friday 11th June 2021.’
The release enjoined all students to vacate the University premises latest 3:00 pm on Friday 11th of June, 2021.
The students should note that they are expected to be back on campus on Sunday 27th of June, 2021 for the second semester of the 2020/2021 academic session.
In view of the time given for the students to vacate the University premises on Friday 11th of June, 2021, the Friday examination has been rescheduled to make the vacation of students from the University premises convenient.
The first paper has been rescheduled to hold between 8:00 am – 10:00 am while the second paper has been rescheduled to hold between 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Nothing the security challenges being witnessed by the country, the University’s management has asked all staff and students to stay alert during the break.
A new memo dated 10th of June, 2021 and signed by the registrar of the institution, Olayinka O. Balogun (Mrs) was also released to notify parents and guardians of the students of the former release from the University.
